Shanghai Avionics Corporation (SAVIC) is a high technological
enterprise devoted to the development, production, and marketing
of avionics and commercial electronics products.
As a multidisciplinary company, the operations of Shanghai Avionics
Corporation are involved with multiple branches of technologies.
Some of its laboratories have been defined by authorities as key
laboratories and professional laboratories at State, Regional, and
Trade levels. SAVIC is specialized with the system integration and
core technologies including integrated avionics systems, telecommunications
and navigation, industrial control, computer hardware, computer
software, GPS and GIS applications. Strong forces of technical staff
make SAVIC invulnerable in challenges and competitions. In 1992
SAVIC had been awarded with the honor of Shanghai Enterprise of
High and New Technologies. Since 1994, SAVIC has been granted with
export permit by the authorities.
SAVIC has paid attentions to develop its self-contained capabilities
for innovations, and makes efforts for the industrialization of
its development outcomes. Modernized production facilities including
high precision machinery and SMT facilities provide the sound basis
of production for electronics and communications products. SAVIC
passed the ISO9001 certification for quality assurance system in
1996, ISO2000 certification for quality assurance system in 2003,
and Level 3 SW-CMM certification in 2003. High quality products
and excellent after sales service make SAVIC a good profile in the
market.
"Gear to the market needs both domestic and
abroad" is the strategic
policy SAVIC adopted for its international cooperation and exchanges.
SAVIC has maintained close relations and partnerships with some
well-known transnational companies. After China's joining WTO, SAVIC
